This sketch shows the structure of the monument. The Monument will be the same dimensions as the reflecting pool
(2029' x 167').


The Monument to Art will be in dialogue with the Reflecting Pool. They will be separated by trees.


The monument will be made of stainless steel. The same material of subway cars. In the 80s subway cars in New York City were adorned with graffiti.


This is a representation of the interior of a subway car in New York City in the 80s.
